AHGSS is excited to announce the dates for our 2016 conference! “Narrative Interventions” will take place March 4th-5th, 2016.

We encourage graduate students at the MA, MFA, and PhD levels from any discipline dealing with the built environment and visual culture to submit abstracts, allowing for an enriched and well-rounded dialogue. Presentations are twenty minutes in length, followed by a discussion period.

AHGSS has been hosting annual conferences since 2013. Notable speakers at past conferences include composer, musician and scholar Jesse Stewart, artist Thomas Kneubühler, and artist Maskull Lasserre.

We are now accepting submissions for this year’s conference. Applicants are invited to submit a 250-word abstract of your paper along with a 100 word bio. See the “Narrative Interventions” page for more details and our Call for Papers.

For questions and concerns regarding this year’s conference, please contact Brittany Watson and Amy Prouty (2016 conference co-chairs), or visit the “Narrative Interventions” page.
